Project Director - PR, Events & Campaigns

About the role

We are seeking a Project Director to lead a high‑impact cyber‑security experiential programme that raises awareness among UK SMEs. The role combines PR, events and digital campaign leadership to deliver a compelling narrative that makes cyber‑crime feel urgent.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the programme, managing timelines, budgets and multiple workstreams.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged.
• Commission and coordinate external agencies for experiential production, PR and digital delivery.
• Plan and execute live events, roadshows and immersive activations for business owners.
• Integrate PR activities with digital campaigns to ensure a consistent narrative.
• Control programme budget, track expenses and manage supplier contracts.
• Maintain a live risk register and enforce governance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of senior project or programme management experience, preferably in multi‑agency environments.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale experiential or immersive events.
• Strong background in managing PR agencies and integrated digital campaigns.
• Demonstrated commercial management, budget ownership and supplier contract experience.
• Experience engaging Director‑level and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent; PRINCE2 or PMP certification is a plus.
