Project Director – Rebrand Programme (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Director to lead a six‑month, high‑visibility rebrand programme for a major client in London. The role will act as the central hub between creative, design, digital operations and business teams, ensuring the brand transformation is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the rebrand programme, from strategy and identity development through design‑system build, rollout planning and full deployment.
• Develop and maintain a master programme plan, mapping all workstreams, dependencies, milestones and sign‑off points.
• Chair workstream reviews, track progress and provide clear, jargon‑free reporting to senior executives.
• Guard the brand and design‑system integrity, ensuring outputs meet the brief without overstepping creative decisions.
• Translate creative concepts into business requirements and align cross‑functional teams around a common vision.
• Manage multiple parallel workstreams including brand identity, digital rollout, customer communications, retail/OOH and internal launch.
• Oversee external agencies, manage the programme budget, process purchase orders and flag financial risks.
• Maintain a live risk register, implement quality checkpoints and ensure compliance with legal, accessibility and other standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of senior project or programme management experience, preferably leading large‑scale brand or creative programmes.
• Proven ability to influence senior designers, directors and business stakeholders.
• Strong governance, reporting and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to bridge creative and business language.
