Project Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing (30‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading FMCG organisation on a high‑visibility, 30‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for delivering a multi‑million‑pound new production line, from installation through commissioning, while ensuring the project stays on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of a new production line, including installation, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to keep the project on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress against milestones and report status to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with validation and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Resolve technical issues related to automation, robotics and complex equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage installation and commissioning of large‑scale equipment.
• Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
