Project Engineer – Package Lead for Nuclear Power Project

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer / Package Lead to join the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Project Team delivering the new Sizewell C nuclear power station. Based in either Bristol (UK) or northern France, you will coordinate technical interfaces and manage key project packages from design through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical interfaces with the operator and client engineering teams.
• Lead internal stakeholders across Engineering, Qualification, Procurement, and Logistics.
• Manage contracts with suppliers, including technical and contractual exchanges.
• Supervise custom manufacturing of equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and traceability.
• Monitor budgets, invoicing, and contractual milestones.
• Ensure adherence to customer contractual and technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project reporting on progress, milestones, and financial performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering project management experience, preferably in the nuclear or comparable industrial sector.
• Background as Business Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
• Proven ability to optimise technical and financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, deadlines, quality, profitability, and health & safety.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
