Project Engineer – Water Industry (Chelmsford)

About the role
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a market‑leading M&E design and commissioning firm serving clients such as Thames Water. The role involves managing projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on site work, client liaison and thorough documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial concept to final hand‑over
- Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with contractors
- Liaise with clients to ensure requirements are met
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and paperwork
- Work Monday to Friday on‑site and in the office
Required profile
- Background in the water industry or a closely related sector
- Proven experience in managing and commissioning projects
- Full UK driving licence
Required skills
- SMSTS certification
