Project Management Office Placement – 13‑Month Internship

About the role

Join the Project Management Office (PMO), a key function within Project Management supporting programmes and projects through robust processes, tools and data analysis. This 13‑month placement offers exposure to senior management, key customers such as the UK Ministry of Defence and the European Space Agency, and a strong focus on personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the PMO and Project Managers in developing and maintaining business management tools, methodologies, templates, documentation and reporting.
• Support the Head of PMO on delivery improvement workstreams and PM digitalisation, including tailoring processes and developing software tools.
• Liaise with the PMO, Risk and Integrated Planning Managers to implement best‑practice project and risk management across the business.
• Work on project plans, issue and change logs, risk and opportunity registers, data gathering, milestone tracking and stakeholder reporting.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business Management or a related subject.
• Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in Google software.
• Good written and verbal communication, organisational and detail‑oriented skills.
