Project Management Placement – 12.5‑Month Internship

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement in the Project Management Office at Airbus supports Value Stream Management teams in Broughton. You will work alongside programme leaders to help deliver innovative aerospace products on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up Agile and waterfall project structures
• Manage project maturity, governance and lessons learned
• Integrated schedule planning and baselining
• Identify critical‑path activities and manage risks and opportunities
• Create and maintain digital project monitoring and control processes
• Finance monitoring and cost control

Required profile

• Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Project Management, Business Management, IT & Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing, Economics or any Science discipline
• Prior experience working within project teams (advantageous)
• Experience with digital tools (useful but not mandatory)
• Strong self‑motivation, enthusiasm and a drive to seek new opportunities
• Eagerness to learn, grow and acquire new skill sets
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing workplace challenges
