Project Manager – Bespoke Joinery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead bespoke joinery and interior projects for a high‑end, specialist production business. The role bridges workshop craftsmanship and client‑facing delivery, ensuring each project moves smoothly from design hand‑over to final installation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bespoke joinery projects from concept through production and on‑site installation.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedules and workflow to meet tight deadlines.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications using SolidWorks or equivalent software.
• Liaise with design, production, site teams, contractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead workshop and installation crews, maintaining exceptional standards of finish.
• Oversee procurement, material planning and resource allocation across multiple active projects.
• Conduct regular site visits across London, the South East and occasional nationwide locations.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical or logistical issues, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing bespoke joinery, cabinetry or high‑end interior fit‑out projects.
• Background in carpentry, joinery manufacturing or specialist woodworking.
• Strong understanding of production processes, technical drawings and installation coordination.
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
