Project Manager - Business Change & Transformation

About the role

The Project Manager will lead enterprise‑wide transformation programmes, ensuring they align with the organisation’s long‑term strategic goals. Working within a public‑sector governance framework, you will drive projects from concept through to handover, managing risks, budgets and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex transformation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate meetings, diaries and administrative activities to keep the project on track.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues, maintaining logs and escalation processes.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication.
• Support governance arrangements, preparing updates, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and boards.
• Track project expenditure against budgets and assist with resource planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in project or programme management, preferably in complex or public‑sector environments.
• Working towards APM Level 4 Associate Project Manager qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and ability to apply them in a structured environment.
