Project Manager – Commercial Solar PV Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial Solar PV projects for a leading renewable energy developer based in Exeter. You will be responsible for delivering rooftop and ground‑mounted solar installations from the pre‑construction stage through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for commercial Solar PV schemes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and installation teams, overseeing procurement and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience managing commercial Solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design, construction processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
