Project Manager – Construction Consultancy (Commercial & Hotel)

About the role

Brandon James Ltd, a growing construction consultancy in London, is seeking a Project Manager to lead smaller commercial and hotel projects while supporting Directors on larger, more complex schemes. The role offers the chance to work on a portfolio that is roughly 75% commercial and 25% hospitality, providing exposure to both sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smaller commercial and hotel projects from inception through to completion.
• Manage programmes, consultants, procurement, reporting, risk registers and contract administration.
• Act as the primary client contact, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and monitoring progress.
• Support larger projects by owning defined work‑streams and assisting senior colleagues with programme, cost, quality and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with JCT contract terms.

Required profile

• Prior project management experience within a construction consultancy.
• Strong commercial project background; hotel experience is a plus.
• Relevant construction‑related degree and ambition to achieve chartership (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB).
• Proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Project management competency.
