Project Manager – Construction Consultancy (Healthcare & Education)

About the role

We are seeking a confident Project Manager to lead healthcare and education construction projects across London. You will work closely with NHS trusts, schools, higher‑education providers, consultants and contractors to deliver public‑sector schemes that have a real community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of projects from feasibility and planning through construction, handover and close‑out.
• Manage project programmes, coordinate design teams and support procurement activities.
• Prepare progress reports, chair project meetings and attend client briefings.
• Track risks, manage change control and ensure robust project governance.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and internal teams to keep costs, schedules and stakeholder expectations under control.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a construction consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated experience on healthcare and education projects, preferably in live operational settings.
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or progress towards one.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and standard project delivery processes.
