Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are partnering with a growing construction and fire‑protection business in Sussex to find a Project Manager who will oversee a portfolio of projects across Eastbourne, Rye, Hastings and Worthing. The role combines site visits, team leadership, client liaison and administrative duties to keep projects compliant, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage labour, subcontractors and site‑based teams across multiple sites.
• Coordinate works, organise materials and resources, and process timesheets.
• Maintain strong client relationships and conduct regular progress reviews.
• Ensure health & safety standards, compliance documentation and project records are up to date.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on programme and within budget.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in project or site management.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and a full UK driving licence.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Standard Monday‑to‑Friday hours (7 am‑4 pm) and field‑based work across Eastbourne, Rye, Hastings and Worthing.
