Project Manager / Contracts Manager – Joinery Contractor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Contracts Manager to lead joinery‑focused projects for a respected contractor operating across the North West and Lancaster. You will own the delivery of multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction from inception to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of joinery projects across the region.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, coordinating resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality standards, producing regular reports.
• Proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Strong background in joinery with hands‑on trade experience.
• Proven track record in project or contracts management within construction.
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 Joinery, SMSTS or SSSTS.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Leadership skills with a solutions‑focused attitude.
