Project Manager / Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing

About the role

The role leads the delivery of engineering projects from prototype through to full‑scale production in a fast‑growing advanced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of new product projects from prototype to mass production.
• Communicate progress, issues, solutions, timescales and finances to all stakeholders and customers.
• Control project timelines, budgets and technical delivery.
• Coordinate with production, sales and customer teams.
• Develop manufacturing processes and production documentation.
• Ensure procedures meet quality, safety and traceability standards.
• Identify risks early and resolve technical or delivery challenges.
• Support material procurement and cost‑control activities.
• Drive improvements in efficiency and manufacturing performance.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator who can influence across teams and customers.
• Experience in a project‑manager or similar role within manufacturing.
• Background supporting products from development into production.
• Understanding of both low‑ and high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a practical, organised approach.
• Comfortable influencing without direct reports.
• Engineering degree, HND or equivalent hands‑on experience.
