Project Manager – Engineering (York)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a manufacturing or engineering background to join a leading manufacturer of high‑spec engineering equipment for the events and entertainment sector. The permanent, full‑time position is based in York and combines office work, home‑working and regular site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple large‑scale projects from design through build to commissioning.
• Oversee mechanical, fabrication and automation teams to deliver equipment on time and to specification.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain project documentation, budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to commute to York.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, fabrication and automation processes.
