Project Manager – ESG Regulatory Disclosure

About the role

This position leads ESG regulatory disclosure projects for a leading financial services organisation. Based in London, you will ensure compliance with evolving sustainability regulations across the EMEA region, coordinating multiple workstreams and delivering results on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of a complex ESG regulatory programme, from planning to transition into business‑as‑usual.
• Coordinate and track inter‑dependencies across multiple workstreams and locations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, budgets and governance structures.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
• Engage senior stakeholders, steering committees and executive sponsors.
• Produce documentation to satisfy regulatory scrutiny and audit requirements.
• Support the implementation of sustainability‑related regulatory frameworks and disclosure requirements.
• Monitor progress, benefits realisation and adapt plans to regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, APM) preferred.
• Minimum five years of project‑management experience, preferably in financial services, banking or capital markets.
• Proven experience delivering medium to large‑scale change initiatives.
• Understanding of financial‑services regulatory frameworks and ESG/disclosure programmes.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with senior executives.
