Project Manager – Health Sector (Shrewsbury)

About the role

Gleeds is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead impactful healthcare projects across the North West of England and Wales. The role offers flexible hybrid working, allowing you to split time between office locations, on‑site project sites and home.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of complex health‑sector projects from business case through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative client relationships.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, reporting and documentation.
• Assist with procurement, tender processes and NEC4 contract administration.
• Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and monitor project performance, risk and financial control.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development and bid preparation.
• Escalate risks and issues to senior leadership as required.

Required profile

• Solid experience in project management, preferably within the health sector or public‑sector construction.
• Understanding of construction procurement strategies and building contract legislation.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and financial literacy.
