Project Manager – Healthcare Innovation (Contract)

About the role

This contract position supports a new Service Development unit within a leading healthcare charity. You will lead agile delivery of rapid test‑and‑learn experiments that improve how information reaches people affected by a diagnosis and connects them with the charity.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate innovation cycle planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, stand‑ups and other regular meetings.
• Manage the unit’s budget together with the Unit Lead.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, subject‑matter experts, designers, motion‑graphics producers and external partners to review and replace outdated video content.
• Coordinate publication of new content via YouTube and the internal CMS.
• Lead a review of patient‑information processes, recommending improvements for efficiency, consistency and compliance.

Required profile

• 35‑hour weekly commitment from August 2026 for at least 6 months (potentially 8‑9 months).
• Experience working with creative production teams and delivering projects in an agile environment.
• Highly organised, able to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Interest in applying AI tools such as Co‑pilot or Claude to improve processes.
