Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading engineering firm in the North East, is seeking a Project Manager to drive projects from concept to completion. Reporting to the Director, you will collaborate with multiple business functions and customers to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee multiple engineering projects, ensuring they meet time, budget and specification targets.
• Maintain alignment between customers and internal teams, managing commercial, technical and operational priorities.
• Prepare internal and external reports, track project costs and revenue, and ensure invoicing aligns with contract terms.
• Lead contractual and commercial matters, liaising with Legal and Contracts departments as required.
• Manage relationships with customer project teams and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within high‑value engineering, oil & gas or similar sectors.
• Minimum HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering; a recognised project management qualification is advantageous.
• Organised, accurate, self‑motivated with strong analytical and communication skills.
• International project experience is a plus.
