Project Manager

About the role

SiXworks is looking for a Project Manager to lead agile, mission‑critical digital projects supporting Defence and National Security. You will work with cross‑functional teams, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver secure technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including forecasting, change and risk management.
• Coordinate deliverables from cross‑functional teams, vendors and business resources, ensuring alignment with strict commercial models.
• Facilitate open communication to identify dependencies and risks early, using structured and agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Shape Up.
• Produce reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Occasionally travel to Herefordshire for site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as APMP, Prince2 or Agile qualifications.
• Experience in UK Defence & Security sector is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and procurement management skills.
