Project Manager – Lift Installation & Modernisation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead lift modernisation and new installation projects for a well‑established lift engineering business. This hands‑on role involves full ownership from contract handover to client sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of lift modernisation and installation projects across multiple sites, managing programmes, budgets, subcontractors and site teams.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, main contractors and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and fully compliant with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience within the lift or elevator industry (essential).
• Strong technical understanding of installation and modernisation works, including traction and hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of EN 81, LOLER and CDM 2015 is strongly preferable.
• Ability to juggle several live projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.
• Background in construction or building services is highly desirable.
