Project Manager – Marine Infrastructure (Hybrid, International Travel)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced marine infrastructure professional to lead a major international port development project in Chile, from concept through construction and operation. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model and includes extensive travel to Chile and other project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of large‑scale marine infrastructure, including jetties and a deep‑water Panamax‑capable terminal.
• Manage marine design consultants, surveys and technical studies.
• Develop construction, procurement and delivery strategies.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Support permitting and regulatory approval activities.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, authorities and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight during procurement and construction phases.
• Travel regularly to Chile and other project locations.

Required profile

• Strong background in marine infrastructure, ports or maritime engineering.
• Proven experience managing projects through design and construction phases.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract strategy and project delivery.
• Ability to work in a small, dynamic team.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Ideal experience with port, jetty or terminal projects, marine design consultancy or asset‑owner environments, and large‑scale industrial or logistics developments.
