Project Manager – Organisational Change

About the role

This six‑month contract role, based in London on a hybrid schedule, leads a high‑impact organisational change programme for a large public‑facing organisation. You will shape the transition of critical operational functions, ensuring service continuity while driving sustainability‑focused transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a complex change programme, migrating teams, processes, systems and governance into a new operating model.
• Oversee end‑to‑end programme management across HR, legal, finance, IT and operations work‑streams.
• Design and implement change strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications and transition planning.
• Manage programme governance, risk registers, reporting, decision logs and board‑level documentation.
• Coordinate operational readiness activities such as system setup, data migration and post‑implementation review.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale organisational change or transformation programmes.
• Strong project or programme management background using recognised methodologies.
• Experience working across multiple organisations or governance structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workforce transition in partnership with HR and legal teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, with experience engaging senior leadership and board members.

• Ability to manage risk, governance and delivery across cross‑functional work‑streams.
