Project Manager – Retail Projects (North West)

About the role

We are recruiting a Project Manager with RIBA experience to join our National Programmes team, delivering retail projects across the North West. The role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to post‑handover, preparing key stage reports.
• Run the bidding process, handle contractor queries and manage procurement/commercial strategies.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams on live operational sites and ensure compliance with health, safety, security and quality standards.
• Prepare contract documents, organise meetings, take minutes and oversee contract administration.

Required profile

• Construction Project Management degree or equivalent with extensive technical delivery experience.
• Proactive, well‑organised, commercially astute and able to deliver customer‑service excellence.
• Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and prioritising workloads.

Required skills

• NEC contract management experience.
• RIBA standards knowledge.
• Familiarity with the design process.
