Project Manager – SALT Stack Transformation

About the role

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a data transformation programme for a university in Leeds. The role focuses on migrating from Business Objects to a modern SALT Stack (Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau) and will run initially until 31 December with strong potential for extension.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the migration from Business Objects to Snowflake, Alteryx and Tableau.
• Provide regular programme updates, mapping the current landscape, progress and remaining deliverables.
• Gather business requirements and stakeholder feedback throughout the transformation.
• Identify and organise training and change‑management activities to support adoption.
• Prioritise workstreams and manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Act as the liaison between business users and technical/data teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
• Translate complex project information into accessible updates for diverse audiences.
• Support governance and decision‑making throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects or transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Experience gathering business requirements and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to simplify complex information and provide clarity to stakeholders.
