Project Manager – Signalling (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major signalling projects within a complex transport environment. The role will initially focus on the final delivery stages of a high‑profile signalling programme, with additional project responsibilities expected throughout the six‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects through established governance and delivery processes.
• Control budgets, costs, schedules, risks, resources and reporting.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
• Produce cost reports, performance reports and detailed project plans.
• Oversee project interfaces, dependencies and commercial matters.
• Lead and coach 2‑3 Assistant Project Managers.
• Ensure safe and compliant project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience within signalling, preferably on London Underground or similar transport networks.
• Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost‑control expertise.
• Experience managing external contractors and suppliers.
• Track record delivering high‑value projects in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Project Management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 is advantageous.
