Project Manager – Steel Fabrication Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead steel fabrication projects for a well‑established engineering and fabrication business in Gloucester. The role involves overseeing projects from initial order through to successful completion, ensuring they meet time, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple steel fabrication projects from order receipt to delivery, maintaining schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, design, production and installation teams to align project activities and resolve technical queries.
• Monitor progress, costs, resources and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery adheres to quality standards, health & safety regulations and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in the steel fabrication or manufacturing sector.
• Previous role as Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar project delivery position.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

What we offer

• Permanent position with a salary range of £35,000–£40,000, dependent on experience.
• Monday‑to‑Friday working pattern.
