Project Manager – Telecommunications (Hybrid)

About the role

Neos Networks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key projects for a major utilities client. The role involves delivering small‑to‑medium telecom projects across the full lifecycle while working in a hybrid model based in Reading, Havant or Glasgow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines, operating autonomously.
• Establish and manage project governance, including kick‑offs, reviews and steering groups.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies with clear ownership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure customer expectations are met and delivery aligns with agreed standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and compliance with governance standards.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering telecommunications projects of small‑to‑medium scale.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, able to engage at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to apply project‑management best practices and drive high standards.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management across internal and external environments.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams, vendors and partners.
• Knowledge of the utilities sector is highly desirable.
