Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Capital Delivery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of trunk main works within our Water and Wastewater Capital Delivery programme. The role involves overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects that improve network resilience and protect the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of trunk main projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, planning, construction, commercial and stakeholder management.
• Manage design, permitting, traffic management, construction and handover activities.
• Ensure projects meet time, cost, quality and safety targets and maintain programme baselines.
• Drive risk, opportunity and change control processes and uphold CDM compliance.
• Oversee RAMS, permits, safe systems of work and behavioural safety.
• Control environmental compliance, pressure testing, chlorination and quality assurance.
• Engage with highways authorities, councils, landowners, businesses and residents.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in water, wastewater, utilities or civil infrastructure.
• Track record of delivering large capital projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations, RAMS and environmental standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
