Project Quantity Surveyor – Residential & Commercial

About the role

We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Central London office, working on residential, co‑living, PBSA and commercial office schemes. The role is client‑facing and offers a clear pathway towards a Senior QS position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or assist pre‑contract cost planning (RIBA Stages 1‑4) depending on project size.
• Support procurement and tender processes.
• Administer elements of JCT contracts (Design & Build / SBC).
• Assist with post‑contract commercial management, including interim valuations and payment notices.
• Manage variations, change orders and produce monthly cost reports.
• Forecast cash flow and liaise with stakeholders.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification desirable; if not, actively working towards APC.
• Experience in a cost consultancy or contractor environment.
• Residential new‑build experience preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
