Project Team Manager – Midlothian IJB

About the role

The Midlothian Integration Joint Board (IJB) is seeking a Project Team Manager to lead the delivery of its strategic refresh and related statutory publications for the 2028‑2031 period. This fixed‑term role will work closely with senior officers to ensure timely, coordinated project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the project plan for refreshing the Midlothian IJB Strategic Plan 2025‑2035 and produce associated statutory publications.
• Coordinate extensive stakeholder engagement, including Health Board and Local Authority liaison and statutory consultation.
• Manage the timetable for statutory publications to ensure timely delivery by relevant personnel.
• Lead the collaborative development of Midlothian IJB Directions 2027/28 and maintain the Directions Log.
• Provide project management support for Midlothian IJB committee agendas and papers, liaising with Democratic Services.

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of integrated Health and Social Care and the statutory duties of Integration Authorities.
• Experience working within an Integration Joint Board or similar health integration environment.
• Proven line‑management experience and a strong record of delivering business support.
• Ability to work with senior officers, including the Chief Finance Officer, Chief Internal Auditor, and Programme Manager for Performance and Improvement.
