Project Worker – Homeless Support

About the role

Join Sanctuary Group’s vibrant homelessness service in Grays, Essex, as a Project Worker. You will help people who have experienced homelessness build independence, confidence and a brighter future.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers to develop independence and achieve personal goals.
• Assess needs, create and update individual support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for queries, ensuring respectful, dignified service.
• Build positive relationships while safeguarding choice, privacy and dignity.
• Collaborate with external partners to promote health, wellbeing, education and employment.

Required profile

• Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• Willingness to work towards or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and similar IT tools.

• £14.57 per hour, 25‑30 hours per week (part‑time).
