Property Accountant (Permanent)

About the role

We are partnering with a boutique property management firm located in London's West End to recruit a permanent Property Accountant. The role offers exposure to a wide range of finance duties and the chance to support the company's ambitious growth across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable invoices and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end accounting and update quarter‑end working papers.
• Post month‑end journals (fixed assets, depreciation, pre‑payments, accruals).
• Support preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
• Process monthly payroll.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Assist with year‑end audit processes.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with 3‑5 years of finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Ambition to complete CIMA or ACCA qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑growing environment.
• Good work ethic and cultural fit.
