Property Adjuster - North/North West London

About the role

Sedgwick is recruiting Domestic Loss Adjusters (Property Adjusters) across North and North West London. You will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims, from visiting customers at their homes and coordinating contractor visits to settling each claim. The role suits detail-oriented problem-solvers who want variety and a rewarding career.

Key responsibilities

• Visit claimants' properties and coordinate visits from contractors
• Settle domestic property damage claims
• Compile comprehensive reports, working from the office or from home

Required profile

• A full UK driving licence, as travel by car is essential
• An understanding of how a home insurance policy works and the basic make-up of a domestic property
• Ability to handle multiple claims at once while managing your own week

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills, speaking with and writing to policyholders, insurers and contractors
• Problem-solving and time management
• Use of Apple software such as iPads or other tablets is helpful but not vital
