Property Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Property Advisor to help turn around and let void properties across Ealing. The role is field‑based, requiring regular travel between properties, and will involve close collaboration with housing, allocations and repairs teams.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct viewings of void properties.
• Complete tenancy sign‑ups in line with council procedures.
• Promote available properties and support applicants through the lettings process.
• Liaise with allocations, housing officers, surveyors and contractors to progress voids.
• Maintain accurate property and tenancy records using housing management systems.
• Manage property keys and access arrangements.
• Support vulnerable residents and coordinate with relevant agencies when required.
• Ensure properties meet lettable standards and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience conducting viewings and sign‑ups of void properties within a housing association, local authority or social housing environment.
• Strong understanding of the voids and lettings process.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and meeting performance targets.

What we offer

• Hourly rate £22.02 PAYE or £28.71 Umbrella.
• 3‑month fixed‑term contract with possibility of extension.
• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 35 hours per week.
• Travel across the borough; a car and full UK driving licence are preferred.
