Property Asset Manager

About the role

Our client, a manager of mixed‑use estates and commercial assets, is expanding its Manchester team and is looking for a Property Asset Manager. You will work alongside surveying, facilities management and finance colleagues to drive performance, strengthen occupier relationships and deliver value‑led strategies for a diverse commercial portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute asset‑management strategies to maximise property performance and value.
• Perform financial analysis and market research to identify growth and optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with local letting agents to implement letting strategies and secure new tenancies.
• Coordinate with property managers to ensure smooth building operations and maintenance.
• Oversee service‑charge budgeting, accounting, rent collection, receivables and debt recovery.
• Manage tenant relationships, address concerns and ensure a positive tenant experience.
• Supervise lease administration, including renewals, negotiations, rent reviews and tenant retention.
• Maintain in‑house lease records and process tenant applications for alterations or alienations.
• Conduct periodic tenant experience reviews and property inspections to uphold asset quality.
• Prepare and deliver regular asset performance reports for senior management and owners.
