Property & Casualty Broker / Account Handler

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, independent Lloyd's market broker as a Property & Casualty (P&C) Broker/Account Handler. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining direct exposure to clients and insurers while taking genuine responsibility from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support placement and servicing of P&C risks.
• Prepare market presentations, renewal submissions and place slips.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers, underwriters and clients.
• Negotiate quotations and assist with new business placements.
• Manage policy documentation, endorsements and mid‑term adjustments.
• Attend client and insurer meetings with senior brokers.
• Gradually take ownership of your own portfolio.
• Contribute ideas to drive business growth.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in insurance broking, account handling or underwriting support.
• Exposure to Property & Casualty business, retail or wholesale.
• Ambitious, commercially minded and eager for rapid career progression.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
