Property Damage Fee Earner – Insurance Litigation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Property Damage Fee Earner to join our litigation team in Bolton. The role involves managing a varied caseload of defended property damage claims for major insurer clients, working in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of liability and quantum disputes involving property damage such as fire, water or oil escape, collision damage, boundary disputes, trespass and nuisance.
• Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, witness statements and case bundles.
• Engage with clients, insurers and third‑party experts to develop case strategy.
• Represent the firm in negotiations and court proceedings as required.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience handling defended property damage or insurance litigation cases.
• Strong understanding of liability and quantum issues in property damage claims.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
