Property Inventory Clerk – Ipswich

About the role

Do you like being on the road and not sat in an office all day? Do you have attention to detail and enjoy customer contact? This role involves producing detailed inventory reports to support smooth check‑in and check‑out processes for tenants and landlords.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and book property inspections with tenants, completing 8‑10 inspections or 4‑6 inventories each day.
• Confirm visits prior to attending and manage key collection and return from local offices.
• Conduct inspections, checking external condition, communal areas, internal condition, compliance with legislation and risk factors.
• Complete reports, obtain approvals and feed back any maintenance issues to the property manager.
• Submit reports to landlords and tenants with written summaries and follow up with calls when issues are noted.
• Diary follow‑up actions for the property manager.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and confidence to work independently.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
