Property Lawyer

About the role

An immediate opportunity has arisen with a national company to join their legal team as a Property Lawyer. The role focuses on commercial landlord‑tenant matters, particularly under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied and dynamic caseload with minimal supervision.
• Manage landlord‑tenant issues confidently, including notices, renewals and lease terminations.
• Support the Senior Lawyer on larger projects and lead independent matters.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Provide sound commercial judgement and balanced risk advice.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of commercial landlord & tenant law, especially LTA 1954.
• Ability to handle end‑to‑end lease work and respond to complex scenarios.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑driven mindset supporting operational delivery.
• Calm, collaborative personality with excellent attention to detail.
• In‑house experience helpful but not essential; private practice commercial property lawyers are encouraged.
