Property Litigation Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is seeking three Property Litigation Solicitors to join its Leeds office. You will work within a nationally recognised litigation team, handling complex property disputes for both corporate and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all stages of property litigation, from pre‑action advice to court representation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members as required.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel and experts to protect client interests.
• Assist the Department Director with strategic case planning and business development.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a proactive, client‑focused approach.
• Strong empathy and ability to understand sensitive client needs.
• Experience handling residential and commercial property disputes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures.
• Expertise in drafting legal documents for property cases.
• Competence in advising both claimants and defendants.
