Property Loss Adjuster – Midlands

About the role

As a Property Loss Adjuster at Davies you will help customers recover from unexpected property losses, guiding them through the claims journey with expertise, professionalism and empathy. You will manage a diverse portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims, investigating, assessing and resolving them while delivering outstanding service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of domestic and commercial property claims of differing complexity and value.
• Conduct site visits, investigations and assessments to determine cause, extent and validity of losses.
• Provide regular updates to policyholders, stakeholders and clients throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Interpret policy coverage and validate claims accurately and fairly.
• Produce high‑quality reports and recommendations in line with client requirements.
• Manage suppliers, contractors and repair networks to achieve positive customer outcomes.
• Identify potential fraud, recovery opportunities and escalate where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure files remain audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Significant experience handling property loss claims across domestic and commercial sectors.
• Progress towards or completion of a recognised industry qualification at Diploma level or above.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage own workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
