Property Management Team Leader

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position leads the Property Management department for a well‑established independent estate agency in South West London. Reporting to senior directors, you will own a growing residential portfolio across three offices, driving operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the property management team across three branches, delivering on departmental KPIs.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of a premier residential portfolio and act as senior escalation point for complex landlord and tenant issues.
• Ensure full compliance with current UK lettings legislation, safety regulations and housing acts.
• Audit and refine workflows to improve response times, maintenance handling and overall service delivery.
• Collaborate with Lettings, Client Accounts and senior leadership to retain clients and support business growth.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on experience managing residential portfolios within the London market.
• Proven leadership experience supervising or mentoring teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK property compliance, safety regulations and relevant housing legislation.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented with strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Relevant qualifications in property management or related field (e.g., ARLA, RICS).
