Property Management Team Leader – Lee, South East London

About the role

This is a hands‑on leadership position within one of the UK’s fastest‑growing property businesses. You will lead a team of four Property Managers responsible for around 700 fully managed residential properties in Lee, South East London.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of four Property Managers.
• Conduct regular 1‑to‑1s, performance reviews and create development plans.
• Oversee maintenance coordination, contractor management and compliance standards.
• Manage deposit negotiations, end‑of‑tenancy processes and inspection reporting.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels and overall portfolio performance.
• Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Run daily team meetings and report to senior management.
• Act as escalation point for complaints and complex issues.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous residential property management experience.
• Experience managing, mentoring or leading a team.
• Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and service standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving ability.

• Basic salary £40,000 per year plus commission opportunities.
• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑6:00 pm.
