Property Manager

About the role

Drivers & Norris Ltd is seeking a Property Manager to lead its residential property management function in London. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high‑quality management services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance across the portfolio. You will report to the Operations Manager and act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the Property Management team, setting objectives and monitoring KPIs.
• Maintain and grow key landlord relationships, especially for high‑value or complex portfolios.
• Oversee tenancy management including arrears, renewals and compliance with legislation such as ASTs and Right to Rent.
• Ensure full compliance with UK property legislation, ARLA Propertymark and The Property Ombudsman standards.
• Manage risk across the portfolio, covering legal and reputational exposure.
• Direct maintenance strategy, contractor performance and cost‑effective resolution of repairs.
• Oversee rent collection, arrears management and overall financial performance of the portfolio.
• Implement robust processes for inspections, reporting and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Proactive and commercially aware individual.
• Proven experience leading property management teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK residential property legislation (AST, Right to Rent, safety compliance, licensing).
• Ability to mentor staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Experience managing high‑value or complex property portfolios.
