Property Manager – Residential Portfolio

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties for a respected independent estate agency in South Bucks. You will act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring high‑quality service throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential properties from tenancy start to end, including inspections and check‑in/check‑out reports.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and suppliers, ensuring works meet standards.
• Maintain compliance with Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle landlord and tenant enquiries, complaints and tenancy issues professionally.
• Process property‑related administration and keep accurate records.
• Monitor contractor performance and oversee timely completion of works.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in residential property management or lettings.
• Strong understanding of the UK lettings process and landlord/tenant responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organised, able to prioritise a busy workload and work autonomously.
• Professional, proactive and solution‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficient IT skills, including experience with property management systems.
• Familiarity with Reapit or a similar property‑management CRM.
