Property Manager Team Leader

About the role

Clark James Recruitment is partnering with a leading estate agency to appoint a Property Manager Team Leader for its Eltham branch. You will take ownership of a well‑established property management function, overseeing a portfolio of around 700 fully managed residential properties while leading a team of four Property Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the day‑to‑day property management operations, ensuring compliance, maintenance coordination and portfolio performance.
• Monitor and achieve service standards and KPIs across the team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews and develop clear progression plans for team members.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives for the property management team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property management.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational processes.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
