Property Paralegal – Residential & Commercial Conveyancing

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented Property Paralegal to join a well‑regarded law firm in Reading. The successful candidate will manage residential and commercial conveyancing matters while supporting senior fee‑earners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Assist senior fee‑earners with commercial leases, landlord‑tenant matters and property due diligence.
• Draft and review contracts, search reports, SDLT forms and completion statements.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Update case management systems and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Property Paralegal (essential).
• Confident handling of conveyancing processes from instruction to post‑completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proactive and client‑focused approach.
