Property Solicitor

About the role

Join a friendly, growing practice as a Property Solicitor where you will manage an existing caseload, own matters end‑to‑end and deliver exceptional client care. You will work on residential and commercial property files using a modern, cloud‑based case management system.

Key responsibilities

• Run a busy, varied residential property caseload from start to finish (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity).
• Progress matters efficiently using a cloud‑based case management system.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and ancillary documents with precision.
• Conduct due diligence, title checks and searches, reporting findings to clients.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and third parties to keep matters on track.
• Manage key deadlines, risk, compliance and file housekeeping to SRA standards.
• Support and, where appropriate, lead on commercial property, landlord/tenant and refinance/security instructions.
• Contribute to client development, referrals and the growth of the department and firm.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–3 PQE considered) with strong property experience.
• Proven ability to handle residential property matters end‑to‑end.
• Strong technical drafting, attention to detail and disciplined file management.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills with a proactive, solutions‑led approach.
• Competent with cloud‑based case management systems and digital workflows.
